Dear Child Youth and Family,

This is a request under the Official Information Act for statistics on family group homes (FGH) operating in New Zealand. We would like to request the following information;

1. The number of FGHs nationally per year for each of the last five years (2008-2013) – broken down by year.
2. The number of FGHs in the following cities for each of the last five years (2008-2013); Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin – broken down by year and city.
3. The number of FGHs housing four or more children for each of the last five years (2008-2013) – broken down by year.
4. The number of FGHs housing four or more children for each of the last five years (2008-2013); Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin – broken down by year.
5. The total amount of expenses claimed by FGHs in each of the last five years (2008-2013) – broken down by year.
