Ohau to Manakau Pseudoreversal
Simon Bridges made this Official Information request to New Zealand Transport Agency
This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Simon Bridges to read a recent response and update the status.
From: Simon Bridges
Dear New Zealand Transport Agency,
I'd like to know why the speed limit from ohau to manakau is 80 temporarily with insufficient works to justify the temporary limit. This speed limit is at best unlawful and realistically illegal and likely a shuffle towards a review and going back on promised speed increases.
Furthermore id like the TMP that validates this speed limit and any supplementary decision making info. Matched against the criteria for a temporary limit.

From: Simon Bridges
Dear Official Correspondence,
I would like to withdraw this request. Having seen the surveys going on its clearly a preamble to permanently lowering the speed. I think you should be more transparent with these things instead of squeezing through phoney or questionable at best temporary limits. Thirty years as a safety engineer, and this is some of the most blatant nonsense yet.
Yours sincerely,
Simon Bridges
