James made this Official Information request to Ministry of Māori Development
This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for James to read a recent response and update the status.
From: James
Dear Ministry of Māori Development,
Under the OIA please provide the following information:
Is the Ministry of Māori Development aware of alleged bullying allegations and complaints at the Manukau Urban Māori Authority (MUMA) involving the CEO and the alleged trespassing of union representatives? If so, when was the Ministry first made aware?
Please provide all communications including but not limited to texts, emails and meeting notes, concerning the notification and any ongoing discussions/meetings involving the matter. This should include internal communications and external communications if any, with MUMA or its representatives.
What action if any, has the Ministry taken to address concerns that funding could be provided to an organisation where allegations and complaints of alleged bullying against the CEO exist?
Is the Ministry aware of Labour MP Willie Jackson's alleged involvement in this matter including allegedly meeting with the former board chair and asking for a review to be buried.
Please provide all communications if any, with Mr. Jackson involving MUMA since January 2025.
Thank you
Yours faithfully,
James
