Units inside the Police

Luke Ellis made this Official Information request to New Zealand Police

The request was partially successful.

From: Luke Ellis

Dear New Zealand Police,
I would like to request some information under the Official Information Act relating to the structure of your organisation. I would like to request:
•The list of the titles of each unit, department, organisation, or other such division that exists inside the New Zealand Police

•For each division I would like to request the number of FTE staff that have been assigned to each unit

•The responsibilities of each division
To clarify, I am interested in units as organised by different function, rather than regional breakdown. If a division has subdivisions, such as OFCANZ does, I would like to request these too. To give an example of the sort of information I am interested in, I am looking for units such as the ‘Threat Assessment Unit’, the ‘Special Investigation Group’, and the ‘National Drug Intelligence Bureau’.
Regards,
Luke Ellis
