RoC*Rol Scores and Parole Decisions

Joshua Grainger made this Official Information request to New Zealand Parole Board

New Zealand Parole Board did not have the information requested.

From: Joshua Grainger

Dear New Zealand Parole Board,

According to the CPS Operations Manual The Department of Corrections uses a tool called RoC*Rol to generate a score estimating the chance that an offender will seriously reoffend, which is then provided to the Parole Board to assess whether parole should be granted. I would like to request under the Official Information Act:

* any reports, memos, studies, briefings or other documents or data that analyse the relationship between RoC*Rol scores and Parole Board decisions

Feel free to contact me if you wish me to clarify my request.

Yours faithfully,

Joshua Grainger
