I am interested in finding out some information about the industrial dispute between your wholly-owned subsidiary, Ports of Auckland (POAL), and its workforce. I would therefore like to request the following information underthe LGOIMA:

* Has ACIL been briefed on the dispute by POAL, if so I would like a copy of the most recent brifing.
* If ACIL has been informed whether POAL has hired PR companies to manage media coverage of the dispute; if so the identity of the companies and the cost so far of employing them
* If ACIL has been informed whether POAL is using private investigators to spy on protestors and picketers involved in the dispute; if so the identity of the companies and the cost so far of employing them
* The cost, insofar as ACIL has been informed, of POAL's media advertising on the issue.

Dear Official Information,

Thanks; it had been received, but treated as the response to a similar request to Auckland Council, since it bore that letterhead. Its a little odd to combine two requests in this fashion, especially as they were sent to different and legally independent entitites.
