Subject: Official Information Act request - Number of clients transferred from ACC to WINZ benefits

Dear Ministry of Social Development,

I wish to find out the number of WINZ clients who have been transferred to benefits from Accident Compensation in the period June 2009 - June 2012. I am specifically requesting information which relates to ex long term ACC claimants.

Age, gender and type of benefit is irrelevant. Superannuation should be excluded from this data.

Please note if possible I would like this information to better understand ACC policy relating to claimants Recovering Independence.

Dear OIA_Requests (MSD),

I would like to confirm a date when I may have my response about
the number of clients who have transferred from ACC to WINZ. By
law, I believe my requests should normally have responded to
promptly by 7 September 2012.
Should you be unable to assist me in this request I would like to
have know why. Furthermore if the figures are unavailable for some
other reason I'd like clarification of this.
