Dear Minister for Tertiary Education, Skills and Employment,
I am seeking any advice given on the gender impact of two recent tertiary education policy changes:
1. Cuts to student allowance access for post-graduate students
2. Increased government support for the Modern Apprenticeship scheme
This advice may have come from another Ministry, such as the Ministry of Women's Affairs.
I am also seeking a gender break-down of post-graduate students over the last five years, and a gender break-down of apprentices and industry trainees over the last five years.

I'm not totally satisfied with the information provided, in particular on what basis they have assessed that the student allowance cuts will affect the gender proportions identified, plus what exactly is being done to address the massive under-representation of women in apprentice-ships. I'd like to do a follow-up request when I have time to clarify this information further.
