I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to you in your capacity of Ministry of Finance of New Zealand. Last year you stated "The Government doesn't actually know how much New Zealand land is in foreign ownership" ( ref: http://www.nbr.co.nz/article/how-much-nz...) So far, I was equally not successful in finding out this data. I would like to know if in order to deal with this matter:
a) Did you asked for briefings to the Treasury or other entities in order to find out the current status of the issue?
b) If you did so, could make them available to the public?
c) If you did not so, is there any sort of material you are using to deal with this subject?
All the informatin you can provide will be highly useful.
