We had broken down your request into 3 parts (as following):
1. Please provide me with the total number of people under the age of 18

We have transferred part of your request to New Zealand Police. Part of
the information to which your request relates in Part 1: “total number of
people under the age of 18 being arrested, broken down by year as far back
as records permit “ is not held by us but is believed to be held by New
Zealand Police. In these circumstances, we are required by section 14 of
the OIA to transfer this section of your request.
You will hear further from New Zealand Police concerning that part of your
request.
