Dear Human Rights Commission,
A previous OIA request that was acknowledged by the Commission on December 12, 2017 had asked about the cost of the "Give Nothing To Racism" campaign.
In the breakdown of costs, $217,000 was attributed to "Campaign video, memes, branding and media", up to 31st December 2017
I was hoping you could provide a breakdown of the spending to date, that was attributed to "memes" as well as a copy of said campaign memes as well.

On 26 March 2019, you requested the following information from the Human
Rights Commission (“the Commission”):
o The breakdown of spending to date on the Give Nothing to Racism
campaign, attributed to memes; and
o A copy of said campaign memes.
Costs attributed to memes
As you noted in your request, the Commission has previously provided the
costs attributable to the Give Nothing to Racism campaign up to 31
December 2017, which included costs of Campaign video, memes, branding and
media of $217,000.
A further breakdown of costs relating to memes only, does not exist.
No other payments have been made relating to Give Nothing to Racism memes,
since 31 December 2017.
Copy of Give Nothing to Racism campaign memes
All memes created by this campaign are publicly available on our campaign
website [1]https://givenothing.co.nz/.
To clarify, the memes to which we refer are the short shareable videos on
the website which showcase individuals giving nothing to racism.
