Hugh Davenport made this Official Information request to Wellington Regional Council

The request was refused by Wellington Regional Council.

From: Hugh Davenport

Dear Wellington Regional Council,

Attention Margaret Meek

This is in response to https://fyi.org.nz/request/9638-informat..., but should not be treated as a new deadline for the missing data not provided there (see last comment from myself on that one).

I would like to request the full case files for the following cases, and in addition:
a) all addition correspondence (ie, with customer, operator, within GWRC, third party)
b) the driver ID
c) whether that driver had attended a Bus Bike Workshop before the incident, and if so what date(s)
d) whether that driver had attended a Bus Bike Workshop after the incident, and if so what date(s)
e) whether that driver is planned to attend an upcoming Bus Bike Workshop, and if so what date(s)
f) if the cyclist was injured, then:
1) whether the Police were informed of the accident
2) whether the NZTA were informed of the accident
3) whether the cyclist required a hospital visit
4) whether the driver got any traffic infringement/offence/conviction for the accident
5) whether the driver is still employed by a bus operator operating for Metlink

Dear Wellington Regional Council,

While this was discussed in a meeting with Greg Pollock today, I would still be interested in this information to determine whether drivers that have shown to have incidents with cyclists have had training to try prevent future occurrences.

Yours faithfully,

Hugh Davenport
