Information regarding outcome of serious cases.
Hugh Davenport made this Official Information request to Wellington Regional Council
The request was refused by Wellington Regional Council.
From: Hugh Davenport
Dear Wellington Regional Council,
Attention Margaret Meek
This is in response to https://fyi.org.nz/request/9639-informat....
If possible, I would like this request to be treated urgently under section 10(3) of the LGOIMA, as I have a meeting with your General Manager of Public Transport Greg Pollock, which this information would be useful to have prior to that meeting. I remind you that the response should be given "as soon as reasonably practical", and the information (if any) be supplied without "undue delay". I hope that you take this into account when making your decision, especially as I clearly showed my intent in my previous request.
Unfortunately, I do not know where this information is stored, as I had assumed incorrectly that it was stored in your Resolve management system. It turns out it is not.
I would like to request all correspondence related to the following cases. The purpose of this request is to determine how Metlink and the operators dealt with serious complaints. In my previous request I was only given the description of the complaints, however that did not contain the outcome of the copmlaints, or any follow up with the customer who complained (either for resolution, or clarification, or both).
The correspondence I request will hopefully include, but is not limited to, any correspondence to and from the operators, any correspondence to and from the customer, any correspondence to and from any internal staff at GWRC, and any correspondence to and from any third party. If there is no additional correspondence for any of the case files listed, then please mention that.
The case files I am interested in are:
161029
161204
162574
161058
161228
161599
161280

160638
161939
159977
161888
160751
161699

161440
160430

Yours faithfully,
Hugh Davenport

Dear Sam Horsefield,
The meeting has now been moved to April 12, which is still before the 20 days, but will give you a bit more time.
Yours sincerely,

Dear Wellington Regional Council,
I had a meeting with Greg Pollock today, which has led me to believe that Metlink is now able to produce the full case file a lot easier, which reduces follow up requests. This request is still valid.
Yours faithfully,
Hugh Davenport
