Dear Weta Lawncare

I have been asked to let you know that Police requires an extension of
time in which to respond to your request for the below information. This
extension is pursuant to section 15A(1) of the Official Information Act
1982, because the request necessitates consultations such that a proper
response to the request cannot reasonably be made within the original time
limit.

Police require until 30 April 2019 to provide a substantive response to
your request.

You have the right to ask the Office of the Ombudsman to review this
extension.

Dear New Zealand Police,

The response to my request is now long overdue. By law, under all circumstances I should have received a response by now.

I would like to request an internal review into why this response has taken so long.

Good morning

I have this on the list of responses to be sent today, but I don't have a
final copy at the moment. I am happy to look into the delays you have
experienced, but it might also pay to contact the office of the Ombudsman
with your issues. You have the right to complaint about a delay even after
you have received a response.

Nga mihi
