Documentation related to decision to offer NZ students "free" Microsoft Office 365 licenses
Dave Lane made this Official Information request to Ministry of Education
The request was partially successful.
From: Dave Lane
Dear Ministry of Education,
I'd like to have copies of all correspondence, analysis, and advice the Ministry considered in relation to the decision to promote Microsoft's Office 365 product licenses to high school (and other) students in NZ. If the decision was made outside the Ministry please inform me in which government organisation the decision was made.
Furthermore, I would like to know the details of the agreement between the Ministry of Education (or other gov't organisation) and the Microsoft Corporation regarding the supply of those licenses - cost, terms, length of agreement, etc.
Sincerely,
Dave Lane
