Dear University of Auckland,

I am writing under the official information act, to request information pertaining to the length of time (in days) between the MBChB year IV Board of Examiners Meeting and the date of release of the Faculty Record (containing the attachment, domain and overall grade breakdowns) to students.

1) What was the length of time (in days) between the board of examiner’s meeting and the release of the faculty record to year 4 MBChB students in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017?

2) What was the date and day (of the week) of release of the faculty record to year 4 MBChB students in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017?

The information you requested is provided in the table below. You should
note that students receive their results electronically within 48 hours of
the BoE date – it is the paper faculty record that is handed out at Y5
orientation. The School of Medicine moved to a digital system in 2018 and
the faculty record is now provided to students prior to Christmas.
