Wainui Road, Ahipara District

LRWiremu made this Official Information request to Far North District Council

Response to this request is long overdue. By law Far North District Council should have responded by now (details and exceptions). The requester can complain to the Ombudsman.

From: LRWiremu

Dear Far North District Council,
I am very concerned with your inappropriate dealings towards naming/claiming Wainui Rd in Ahipara as belonging to Council. I would mention that paper road is not an excuse for your agency/government to assume that it is so. This happens to be a Private Road, owners at 9 surviving the previous owner "Hape Teri WiHamiora- (deceased) MLC Cheif Judge...
Please have this sign removed and return it to the T-Intersection sign post in which you now have renamed Kaitaia-Awaroa Rd. Prior to this signage was "Wainui Junction". This is probably the reason we have Wainui Bridge ON THAT ROAD //???**
The Council nor Government have no Authority over the owners so please use your discretion and consider the removal off your endless and feeble attempt to continuously try to STEAL Land that still belong to Maori under the Estate Title Ahipara A19c.
I urgently await your response to this inquest.

Yours faithfully,
Ms Larn Rangi Williams
