Advice on health and safety companies undertaking meth testing and decontamination should follow
Simon Fleming made this Official Information request to Iain Lees-Galloway
The request was successful.
From: Simon Fleming
Dear Iain Lees-Galloway,
NZS8510:2017 best trade practice advises that full Personal Protective Equipment should be worn where there is a risk of long term exposure to levels of meth residues exceeding 1.5 µg/100cm2. In light of the Gluckman meth report, what approach to employee health and safety should companies undertaking meth testing and decontamination follow when it comes to personal protective equipment where levels exceed 1.5 but are less than 15 µg/100cm2?
Yours faithfully,
Simon Fleming
