The following OIA request was received on 29 September 2018 from Sharna

Dear Animal Control Products Limited,

 

Animal Control Products (ACP) is a New Zealand Government owned,
registered, limited liability company which is also a State Owned
Enterprise under the State Owned Enterprises Act 1986.

 

Governance of the company is carried out by directors who are from time to
time appointed by government.

 

I would like ALL names of these directors.

 

Please ALSO provide ALL names of those that receive wages or any form of
financial payment or dividend from Animal Control Products.

 

I expect a response within the legal 20days. There is no reason for you
not to share this Information or have any reason to withhold it as it does
not affect the following :

 

Section 6 of the Official Information Act lists several reasons that an
organisation could justifiably withhold information, such as if the
request could:

 

jeopordise the security or defence of New Zealand prejudice other
governments or international organisations entrusting information to the
Government of New Zealand prejudice the maintenance of the law and fair
trails endanger the safety of an individual seriously damage the economy
of New Zealand.

Dear Sharna

 

Thank you for your emailed request seeking the names of Directors,
employees and shareholders of Animal Control Products.

 

The name of Directors appointed from time to time, are already public
information which is readily available on the NZ Companies web site at
[1]www.companies.govt.nz  Simply conduct a search on Animal Control
Products Limited and the full names of the three directors will be
viewable.  Current directors are Pamela Clarke, Terry Murdoch and Samantha
Sharif.

 

Financial dividends from the business of the company are paid only to the
New Zealand Government.

 

The names of suppliers and service providers engaged from time to time by
Orillion are withheld because this information is subject to an obligation
of confidence mutually maintained with these persons and businesses.

The names of company employees are withheld to protect their privacy, to
protect them from improper pressure or harassment and to protect their
safety which may otherwise be endangered.
