Dear Joseph,

I am emailing regarding the OIA request you sent Police on 14 September
2018.

I just wanted some clarification around the first question you asked.
Specifically, you requested Police manual chapters relating to public
photography/filming in public. Are you wanting to know the regulations
around police photographing and filming in public, or rather individuals
doing so?

Kind regards,

Helene

Hello Joseph

I have been asked to let you know that Police requires an extension of
time in which to respond to your request for:

“1. Police manual chapters relating to public photography/filming in
public
  2. Police manual chapters relating to the act peeping and peering in a
dwellinghouse.”

This extension is pursuant to section 15A(1) of the Official Information
Act 1982, because the request necessitates a search through a large
quantity of information and consultations such that a proper response to
the request cannot reasonably be made within the original time limit.

Police require until 9/11/2018 to provide a substantive response to your
request.

You have the right to ask the Office of the Ombudsman to review this
extension.

Kind regards

Holly Foxwell
