Subject: Official Information request - Parking Offence

Dear Auckland Transport,

I kindly request the following information:

1. Section 7 of the Land Transport Act (Offences and Penalties) states the offences a parking officer may enforce - Warrant of fitness, registration, damaged or smooth tyres, goods vehicle with no marker light.

However, where in the law does it say a parking officer may enforce 'Incorrect kerb parking- left side of road' and 'Stopping on a level crossing'? Where would it state that these are also 'stationary vehicle offences'
