Please supply the camera information from the intersection of Swanson and Lincoln roads in Waitakere City from 00:30-03:00am on the morning of Sunday 01 July 2018. In particular a traffic incident between a vehicle rego ending 550 and another vehicle which fled the scene

Dear Mr Musson

 

Thank you for contacting Auckland Transport on 3 July 2018 requesting CCTV
footage in relation to an incident at the intersection of Swanson and
Lincoln Roads in Waitakere City from 00:30-03:00am on 1 July 2018,
specifically between a vehicle with registration ending in 550 and another
vehicle which fled the scene.

 

The Joint Transport Operations Centre (JTOC) has reviewed the footage for
the period in question but did not record of the incident, which means the
camera may not have been facing in the right direction.

 

Your request is therefore refused under section 17(e) of the Local
Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA), as the
footage requested does not exist.

 

Should you believe that we have not responded appropriately to your
request, you have the right in accordance with section 27(3) of the LGOIMA
to make a complaint to the Office of the Ombudsman to seek an
investigation and review of the decision.
