Independent Judicial Review Board
Jason McIntosh made this Official Information request to Andrew Little
The request was successful.
From: Jason McIntosh
Dear Andrew Little,
Now that New Zealanders are denied the right of appeal to the Privvy Council , victims of corrupt or unfair court judgements have no independent authority to ask for justice.
Wouldn't it be fair to have an independent judicial Review committee to resolve illegal or unfair cases ?
It seems to the average citizen that judges and government ministries place themselves above the law .
Yours faithfully,
Jason McIntosh

Jason,
This is not a request for existing information - it is a request for information to be created (an opinion - "Wouldn't it be fair to.."). The OIA only covers information which already exists. I suggest reading https://oia.nz/ - a very helpful guide written by one of our users.
