Response to this request is long overdue. By law Chartered Professional Engineers Council should have responded by now (details and exceptions). The requester can complain to the Ombudsman.

Dear Chartered Professional Engineers Council,
Please provide the following information under the Official Information Act:
1. Maximum fees payable under the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Act (1997) for a person who applies for New Zealand Chartered Professional Engineer registration, when the individual is registered with the Board of Professional Engineers of Queensland as either a structural engineer, electrical engineer, building services engineer, fire engineering/fire safety engineer, geotechnical engineer.
2. Number of persons in the last 10 years who have applied under the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Act (1997) for registration in New Zealand as a Chartered Professional Engineers, and the fees charged for the application by ENZ/IPENZ or CPEC.
3. Copies of any audits of Engineering New Zealand (ENZ) (formally known as IPENZ) undertaken by the Chartered Professional Engineers Council with regard to ENZ/IPENZ compliance with the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Act (1997).
4. If available, a copy of any guidelines as per Clause 36 of the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Act (1997).
