I am enquiring about the rollout timeframe for the new bus ticketing system for ORC bus services, specifically:
- When the system is expected to have been rolled out to all Dunedin bus services
- When the system is expected to have been rolled out to all Queenstown bus services
- Whether there will be a pilot program for the new ticketing system involving members of the public

Dear Otago Regional Council,
I am enquiring about the rollout timeframe for the new bus ticketing
system for ORC bus services, specifically:
- When the system is expected to have been rolled out to all Dunedin bus
services – We anticipate the rollout to take place in the last quarter of
this year.
- When the system is expected to have been rolled out to all
Queenstown bus services – as above.
- Whether there will be a pilot program for the new ticketing system
involving members of the public – The ticketing system will be implemented
for nine councils across the country. The system will be tested before it
goes live. Queenstown will be the first location implemented as a pilot
before roll out to the remaining eight councils.
