FENZ Phase II Operational Review
Alan Thompson made this Official Information request to Department of Internal Affairs
The request was refused by Department of Internal Affairs.
From: Alan Thompson
Department of Internal Affairs,
Price Waterhouse Cooper (PWC) were commissioned by FENZ to undertake and Operational Review. A draft of Phase 2 of the PwC report was due in November and the final in December 2027.
Under the provisions of the Official Information Act I requested a copy of the final PwC Operational Report Phase 2 in early January 2018. They responded that the Phase 2 report was “not available at present” and that it was a ministerial review and that DIA would receive a copy “once it is completed”. They further advised that I should request the report from DIA “in one or two months”. This advice did not seem to be consistent with the briefing paper for the incoming Minister presented to her in October 2017. In that briefing it was stated that the Operational Review draft report “would be provided to your departmental officials in November; and the final report is due with officials in December 2017”.
On the basis then that FENZ has denied they have the PWC Phase 2 review report and that they advise that DIA do have it, I request a copy of this document from you under the provisions of the Official Information Act.
Yours sincerely,
Alan Thompson
