I refer to your official information request, which was received on 5 March 2018. You requested, under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act), the following information:
“Could you please provide the Minister weekly briefings you would have received for the past 3 weeks for each one of your portfolios (Workplace Relations and Safety, ACC and Immigration)”

You should challenge this with the Ombudsman. s9(2)(f)(iv) applies only to "advice" (and then only when it is under "active consideration"). But a look at other released weekly briefings shows that they contain a wide variety of non-advisory material which can not lawfully be withheld under this clause. e.g. https://fyi.org.nz/request/6889-weekly-u...
Also, there is no evidence that the public interest in release has been considered.
