Level of Evidence required for issues infringements

David Roos made this Official Information request to Auckland Transport

The request was partially successful.

From: David Roos

Dear Auckland Transport,

Further to CAS 245573 F6S3Q9 (Procedures For Issuing Parking Infringements)

What level is evidence is required for an infringement to considered reliable enough to issues fines/prosecute?

I intend this question within the context of providing evidence to Auckland Transport of regular infringement that wardens are unable to witness or prevent. NZ Police regularly accept and even seek out dashcam footage etc. with ongoing investigations.

Thanks,

David Roos
