Hi Jan

Thank you for your Official Information Act request to the Ministry of Justice.

You've sought clarification as to the right of an applicant to seek and receive a transcript of a tenancy hearing without having to be considered and approved by the Adjudicator.

I have spoken to our Courts and Tribunals Operational Support Team and I can confirm that this is the only way to get access to a to a Tenancy Tribunal hearing transcript.
