Training on responding to OIA requests

Dear Clare Curran,

I am interested in the way that new Ministers get to grips with their new responsibilities, particularly under the Official Information Act (OIA). I would like to request the following information:

* whether the Minister or anyone in her office has received training in how to respond to OIA requests, and if so, who (a job description is fine), when and by whom;
* copies of any training materials used in the above training.

I would prefer to receive an electronic response. Queries about this request will be automatically forwarded to me by the fyi.org.nz website.

With regards to s12 of the OIA, I am an NZ citizen and in NZ
