Dear Tim Newman

This email is in relation to your OIA request dated 9 May 2017 for information related to the establishment of a salmon fishery being developed in the North Arm of Port Pegasus at Stewart Island.

MPI had initially extended the time to respond to your request on the basis that consultation with third parties and collation of documentation was necessary to enable MPI to make a decision on your request. However, we are still completing this process and as such our decision is not yet finalised. We will endeavour to provide our response on your request as soon as possible.
