Dear Ministry of Social Development,

I am interested in the number of SWIS in West Auckland.
Please could you provide:
- The number of SWIS positions in West Auckland
-The number of SWIS positions that are currently filled by Social Workers.
The average length of time between SWIS (IE what is a reasonable length of time for the resignation, re-advertisement, recruitment and employment of a new SWIS into the role)
-And if you are able to provide this, the Schools in West Auckland who currently have a SWIS in post (no names or personal details needed except the School name). If you are not able to provide this as it would be too identifiable, then the number of schools in West Auckland who currently have a SWIS in position broken down by
- Primary Schools
-Intermediate Schools
-Secondary Schools

Dear Christine

On 18 April 2017, you emailed the Ministry requesting, under the Official
Information Act 1982, the following information:

o The number of Social Workers in Schools (SWiS) positions in West
Auckland and the number of those currently filled by Social Workers.
The average length of time between SWiS, for the resignation,
re-advertisement, recruitment and employment of a new Social Worker
into a SWiS role. The Schools in West Auckland who currently have a
SWiS in post.

The Ministry has decided to grant your request in part, some information
will be refused under section 18(g) of the Official Information Act as the
information you have requested is not held by the Ministry. A response
will be with you around 13 June 2017.
