information under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act):

 

“Would the corporation please disclose any reports one year on related to
the article in Public Media regarding $450 Million to Boost ACC.

 

Please also include any other additional information that may be helpful
regarding the success of Objectives”

We refer to your email dated 4 March 2017, which asked ACC for the
following information under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act):

 

“Would the corporation please disclose any reports one year on related to

ACC considers your request for “…any reports one year on related to the
article…” and “…any other additional information that may be helpful
regarding the success of Objectives” to be extremely broad in nature. Any
attempt to respond to your questions in their present form would involve
searching through vast quantities of information to establish what is
relevant to your request.

 

You may be aware of the Office of the Ombudsman’s guide on ‘Making
official information requests’, which clearly states when a requester
makes a request for official information, he/she is obliged to do so with
“due particularity”. This means the requester should be as specific as
possible about identifying the information they are seeking. This assists
the agency receiving the request to identify what is being asked for.

 

With this in mind, we would appreciate if you could clarify what specific
information you are seeking. Please send us your updated request to us by
