Dear Auckland Transport,
Back on 12 February I made a LGOIMA request for a history and reasons of signal phasing changes at two Auckland CBD intersections.

As you can see from the link, no acknowledgement of the request has come through. While I understand the FYI site had some technical issues, they tell me that it only resulted in messages getting delayed, not lost.

Can you confirm whether you have received and are processing the above linked request?

Thank you for contacting Auckland Transport on 12 February 2017 and
subsequently on Monday, 6 March 2017 regarding your request for
information relating to traffic light phasing at the intersections of
Queen Street and Wellesley Street and Queen Street and Victoria Street.

 

Firstly, please accept my sincere apologies for the delayed
acknowledgement.  We have been experiencing a high volume of enquiries. 

 

Your request is currently being processed however collation could not be
completed by today’s due date.    Therefore under Section 14(1)(a) of the
LGOIMA, Auckland Transport is extending the response time to 17 March
2017.  This is because collation of the information is taking longer than
anticipated. 

 

You have the right in accordance with section 27(3) of the LGOIMA to make
a complaint to the Office of the Ombudsmen about this extension.

we wish to apologise sincerely for the ongoing delay.

 

We want to be able to provide you with a comprehensive response to your
request and in view of that, our response requires further review prior to
release. 

 

The matter has been escalated accordingly and we hope to get this out to
you as soon as possible.  

 

You have the right in accordance with section 27(3) of the LGOIMA to make
