Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment
To John Brown
Thank you for your email of 29 September 2016, requesting, under the
Official Information Act (1982), information regarding “Who got funded”,
specifically:
“How many funds In the who got funded spreadsheet are contestable”
The information you have requested is attached in an updated spreadsheet.
You will see that 17 of the funds are or once were contestable, either
entirely or to some degree. We have provided additional commentary where
there were different approaches within a fund.
Many of the funds are historical or have been recently revised through the
National Statement of Science Investment and Budget 2016.
Please note that in the near future, this contents of the “Who got funded”
website will change as the grants administrated by Callaghan Innovation
will be moved to that organisation’s website.
If you wish to discuss any aspect of your request or this response, please
contact me via the details below.
Yours sincerely,
Paul Bruere
