A decision on your request will be notified to you as soon as reasonably practicable and in any case no later than twenty working days. However, if an extension of the time limit is necessary, we will, of course, let you know.

NZSIS would be grateful if you could provide an email or postal address to respond to your request. The reason for doing so, is that you have made your request via the FYI.org.nz website which is a public forum. Under section 45 of the Privacy Act 1993, NZSIS must ensure that any information intended for an individual is received only by that individual. Therefore, an email or postal address is necessary.
