Number of rental properties by Wellington suburb

Dear Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment,

I am interested in calculating the total number of tenants living in each Wellington suburb.

To do so, I would like to know:

1. The total number of rental houses of each size (i.e. number of bedrooms) for each Wellington suburb.
2. Any data you hold on the average occupancy for rental properties of each size.
3. Any other information you might hold that would help me determine the total number of tenants living in each suburb.

Finally — if possible — I would be great to receive this information for as many previous years as possible to see change over time.
