Dear Hastings District Council,
Could you please provide, in table form (.csv or .xls or .xlsx), a detailed breakdown for the mayor and all councillors, per meeting, of:
- councillors in attendance
- apologies
- late arrivals (and what constitutes that), and
- early departures (and what constitutes that) for all council meetings for the 2013 triennium, to date?
Further, could that table contain data on which meetings were considered mandatory for councillors, and which were considered optional?

Regarding your Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act
request (HDC ref: IRB-2-3-16-111)
We have provided, on the attached spread sheets, the record of councillor
attendance at the meetings of council and meetings of committees of
council since the last local government elections.
It shows leaves of absences and apologies.
It does not show late arrives and early departures. Those matters are
recorded on individual council minutes however they not collated into any
document. Should you wish to gather this information we can provide you
with hard copies of all the minutes of meetingsd and an area within our
offices where you can collate that.
Councillors are expected to attend all meetings of council and committees
of council unless leave of absence has been granted and/or apologies
received.
My apologies for the tardiness of this response.

Hi Diane,
Meeting attendance for the past 3 years enc.
The only way to work out late arrivals and early departures is to work
through each set of minutes for the past 3 years – we do have to record
when members arrive and leave the meeting , Not sure what is meant by
mandatory. As a member of the Committee each member would be expected to
attend as much as possible.
