Dear Ministry of Social Development,

In the past you have published historical information in your annual statistical report which is no longer available. I am after an updated version of each of the following tables please.

Section 8: Trends since 1940 in use of, and expenditure on, pensions and main
benefits
table 8.1 Historical summary of the number of people receiving pensions and main benefits
1940-2008
table 8.2 Historical summary of expenditure on pensions and main benefits 1940–2008 ..

I realise that recent changes to benefit categories will have an impact on these tables but I am sure you will be able to include them in some form.
