Total amount paid by Prime Minister to transport his son Max on NZ Air Force flight to Australia
Suzanne Newton made this Official Information request to Prime Minister
The request was successful.
From: Suzanne Newton
Dear Prime Minister,
Recently you traveled with your wife and son, Max, to Australia on a NZ Air force aircraft. Whilst I believe spouses are entitled to travel and accommodation under such circumstances, children are not.
Therefore, I would like to know the amount you have paid, or will pay towards the cost of transporting your son to Australia and also who paid for his accommodation and expenses whilst in Australia. If the accommodation was paid for by NZ Government, then also provide the amount that will be repaid by the Prime Minister, or has been paid by him, to cover his son's expenses. If there is no intention to pay for Max Key's expenses, I would like confirmation of this and also the value of the services etc he has received from New Zealand Tax Payers.
Yours faithfully,
Suzanne Newton

Would be great to see Mr Eagleson point out where, in his response, are we to find the "amount' charged, or paid, for Mr Key's flight....
