Official Information Act 1982 (the Act). Specifically, you requested:

 

I request an annual breakdown of violent or sexual crimes:

 

1. Committed by trans persons against cis persons 2. Committed by cis
persons against trans persons

 

For the last 5 years.

 

The Ministry of Justice (the Ministry) does not hold or report on the
level of information you have requested. This level of detail might be
captured in individual court files, however courts are not subject to the
Act under section 2(6)(a). Your request is therefore refused under section
18(g)(i) of the Act, as the Ministry does not hold the information
requested and there are no grounds to believe it is held by any other
agency or Minister subject to the Act.
