Dear Ministerial Services,
Kia ora,
This OIA request was very clear.
Please provide DETAILS of all contracts if any, the New Zealand Police had/has with the Manukau Urban Māori Authority (MUMA) between 2020 and 2026.
As a contract was identified in the scope of the OIA request - details should have been provided such as contract terms, value of contract etc. These are very basic details and should have accompanied the naming of the contract as requested. This should not require another OIA request and another 20+ business day wait.
I look forward to receiving the details of the contract identified without delay.
Thank you.
Yours sincerely,
James

Kia ora James
Please accept our apology for not replying to your email of 20 May 2026 sooner.
Police did provide you with details of all contracts New Zealand Police had/has with the Manukau Urban Māori Authority (MUMA) between 2020 and 2026 in your OIA response.
If by “details” you had specifically meant contract terms or value of contract, you could have specified this at outset of your request.
Police are happy to lodge a new request for that information if you wish, please let us know if you would like this logged.
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of your OIA response. Information about how to make a complaint is available at www.ombudsman.parliament.nz or freephone 0800 802 602.
