Money borrowed and debt increase from Budgets 2016-2025

Dear Treasury,
For Budgets 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025, please provide the following:
- The amount of debt New Zealand had at the time.
- The amount of debt New Zealand had acquired by interest over the previous financial year.
- The amount of money being borrowed for that Budget.
If and where relevant, please also provide the amount of money borrowed between Budgets that were not included in the Budgets on either side (for example, if money was borrowed in December 2022, but was not reflected in money borrowed for Budgets 2022 or 2023.)
