I would like to know how many people continue to receive the "special Benefit" that is no longer open to new beneficiaries, with annual numbers for each year from 2005.

Please note that the period commencing 25 December 2015 and ending 4 January 2016 does not count as 'working days' as defined in section 2 of the Official Information Act 1982. Due to this holiday, your response would be due on 20 January 2016.
