I am writing to request information under section 10 of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA).
I seek the following details regarding noise complaints associated with the property located at 13 Pirie Street, Mount Victoria, Wellington:
- The total number of noise complaints received by the Council for this address over the period from 1 January 2023 to 1 December 2025
- For each complaint, where available and without breaching privacy obligations:
- The date and time the complaint was lodged.
- A general description of the nature of the noise issue (e.g., loud music, machinery).
- Any actions taken by the Council in response (e.g., warnings issued, abatement notices).
- The outcome or resolution of the complaint.
I understand that personal information, such as the identities of complainants or residents, may be withheld under section 7(2)(a) of LGOIMA or the Privacy Act 2020 to protect privacy. In such cases, please provide redacted or aggregated information where possible.
This request is made as part of the due diligence phase of tendering an offer to buy the freehold title at 13 Pirie Street.
Please acknowledge receipt of this request promptly and provide the information as soon as reasonably practicable, but no later than 20 working days from the date of receipt, in accordance with section 13 of LGOIMA.
