Erika Whittome made this Official Information request to Health New Zealand
This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Erika Whittome to read a recent response and update the status.
From: Erika Whittome
Dear Health New Zealand,
I refer to the letter sent to Auckland schools 29th January 2025 from the Immunsation Coordinator at Starship Community Service at Auckland Hospital:
"Dear Principal
The School Based Immunisation Programme (SBIP) has now been scheduled across Te Whatu Ora Auckland District. ...
In line with Te Whatau Ora Health New Zealand requirements, we require the student rolls for all Year 7 and Year 8 students to assist in the preparation for the consent talks and clinics. Please email the data as an Excel spread sheet as per attached format before the immunisation starts. We require the information to align with all 16 columns to allow importation of the roll into our data base. Please send us your school roll to StarshipCommunity at (@) adhb.govt.nz on or before 14th Feb 2025 stating the name of your school on the subject field.
The information we receive from your school will be added to Te Whatu Ora Auckland School Based Vaccination System. This will allow us to update the student's immunisation status records. .."
I request the following information:
1 Please share the legal requirements for schools to share student rolls with HNZ? The letter says "In line with Te Whatau Ora Health New Zealand requirements, we require the student rolls for all Year 7 and Year 8 students to assist in the preparation for the consent talks and clinics. "
