Dear Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade,

Section 16 of the New Zealand Nuclear Free Zone, Disarmament, and Arms Control Act 1987 establishes the Public Advisory Committee on Disarmament and Arms Control. The committee is supported by MFAT, and has various functions defined by section 17 of the Act. I would like to request the following information under the OIA:

* when did the committee last advise the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade on disarmament and arms control matters, as empowered by s17(1)(a) of the Act? I would like a copy of the advice.
* when did the committee last advise the Prime Minister on the implementation of the nuclear-free legislation, as empowered by s17(1)(b) of the Act? I would like a copy of the advice.
* when did the committee last publish a report on disarmament or arms control matters, as empowered by s17(1)(c) of the Act? I would like a copy of the report.

I would prefer to receive an electronic response. Queries about
this request will be automatically forwarded to me by the
fyi.org.nz website.

With regards to s12 of the OIA, I am an NZ citizen and in NZ.

Yours faithfully,

Alex Harris
