Dear ESD,
Thank you for your letter in reply to my request. I can narrow down my request by specifying correspondence containing any one or more of the following keywords:

Also I note that I have been able to download a zipped file entitled
"3281-copies-of-correspondence-between-mfat-and-ms-kerry-burridge-from-july 1st-2012-to-august-31-st-2015"

Unfortunately this file is password protected, and therefore unable to be opened.

Dear ESD,
Thank you for your recent reply advising that there will be no action on my request until January 20th next year This is totally unsatisfactory.
You need to understand that this is not going to go away, and I'm not going to go away.

I am prepared to further narrow my request to incoming emails only from Ms Kerry Burridge, which mention Business Mentors New Zealnd, the Pacific Mentoring Programme and/or Ray Schofield. I am sure I do not need to remind you that all email databases (in this case incoming to MFAT) can be easily subjected to sender and keyword searches.

I have no doubt that the information I am requesting could easily be supplied within 48 hours. That being the case if a satisfactory response has not been received by me within the next 7 days this matter will be put before the Ombudsman.

Sincerely
Dr GD Craig

Yours sincerely,

DR GRAHAME CRAIG

Dear ESD,
Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately it is devoid of any significant information and appears to have been substantially edited
Further I an disturbed by the handwritten note across 2 of the almost blank pages stating "Out of Scope"

I note also in your covering letter that you state "Some portions are withheld under Section 9 of the OIA "no public interest in releasing the withheld information" This begs the question "when viewed from whose perspective?"

I will be seeking legal advice on MFAT's interpretation of the OIA in this instance.

Yours sincerely,

DR GRAHAME CRAIG
