have call for public nominations e.g. govt.jobs website.

Also, how many applications you have received for the role from the public
and how many you have received from other nominating agencies such as TPK
or Ministry of women etc for your role.

How many you have shortlisted and how many you have interviewed.

Also, can I request to view the appointment letter if there is one sent to
the previous appointee.

We had asked that you supply the specific position that you are enquiring
about as we were unable to follow through with the link that you sent. We
only have the Independent External Chairperson for Water Services
Committee currently open so have provided information on that.

This role was posted on our Council careers website, as well as Seek,
Trade Me and Institute of Directors website.

All applications were received via the channels we noted in question one.
10 have been received as of 16 December 2025.

As of 16 December 2025, no one has been shortlisted or interviewed.

No appointment letter has been drafted to date. This is a new role for a
new committee that has been established so there is no previous appointee.
