Dear Ministerial Services,

Yes. The Police Sport website clearly indicates that NZ Police provide funding to the sub-entity. Media reports indicate Police support and variety of international events. Police media includes photographs of New Zealand Police in uniform. Events include those run under the auspices of international organisations comprised of national police organisations. It is a reasonable expectation that the combination of funding and official attendance indicates a formal program that is consistent with the sports diplomacy strategy.

Yours sincerely,

V Tempsky
